My special friend you're always there
Whenever times are bad.
You always seem to show up when
I'm really feeling sad.

You pop up there and say *Hello*
Or *Good morning Sunshine*
And all at once I feel a smile
For that special friend of mine.

I wait to see the mood you're in
Before I start to tease.
But then you *Blink* and I can tell
You really feel at ease.

We chat about so many things
And time flys by so fast.
We talk about our present life
And things way in the past.

I sit alone so quietly
Way deep into the night.
And watch your words like magic
Come tapping into site.

You can make me laugh
And make me think.
And bring a tear
When I see your *Blink*.

You're my special friend
You're always there.
And it feels so good
Just to know you care.
