A Place
by Elizabeth Dicker

There's a place that I found just for you
In a house that is shape like a heart with plenty of room
It's cozy and spacious with love that continues to grow
A place that will never overflow
from being overcrowded or neglected

But, a place where you know you will always be respected
A room where I will cherish you and never dare to reject
This place is a room, I have just for you,
It's in the center of my heart

There's a rhythm that slows whenever we are apart
Whenever you are close the rhythm of the beats picks up
This is when I close the door so no one will interrupt

The love for my loved ones who are also near
They also have a room, don't worry it's plenty to share

But, the room I have for you is exclusively yours and
We will share our private moments and just lock the door
The surrounds will be filled with gentleness and care
The air would be sweet and warm and the aroma of sincere

In this center of my heart we will charm each other away
And fold my heart very gentle for a love embrace
So, take your place in your room, this is where you belong,
In the center of my life
Where we will connect into a heavenly bond

Welcome home... In a house that's a place shared by love
