The Need for Me
When we first met
you had the need;
the need for you
to be with me
I grew to love
the need you had;
the need for you
to be with me
I loved the way
you made me feel
that need you felt;
that need for me
Now time has past
and I’m so sad
cause I no longer feel
that need for me
The need is gone
and I'm alone;
alone within
my heart and soul
